Riyadh Air has taken delivery of its first two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which arrived in Riyadh after being escorted by the Saudi Falcons upon entering Saudi airspace. The aircraft were delivered from Boeing’s Charleston and Everett production facilities, marking a major milestone for Saudi Arabia’s newest airline. Riyadh Air currently has 39 Boeing 787-9s on firm order, with options for an additional 33 aircraft as it prepares to expand its operations.
