Belarusian flag carrier Belavia Airlines commenced its Winter 2026/ 27 flight operations to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) today, 27 October, with the arrival of its inaugural flight carrying 269 passengers.
The resumption of seasonal operations is expected to support Sri Lanka’s tourism industry by enhancing air connectivity with Belarus and the wider Eastern European market.
