Airbus has delivered its 800th A320 Family aircraft assembled in China, marking a major milestone in its long-standing manufacturing presence in the country. The aircraft, an A321neo, was handed over to Air China after final assembly at Airbus’s Tianjin facility.
The achievement highlights Airbus’s deepening partnership with China and the growing role of the Tianjin final assembly line, which has been in operation since 2008. Airbus said its China teams will continue supporting the ramp-up of global A320 Family production to 75 aircraft per month by 2027.
