Ambassador Majintha Jayesinghe met with Liu Jun, President of Beijing Capital Airlines, to discuss the airline’s planned launch of direct flights between Beijing and Colombo from 31 January 2026. The new service is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Sri Lanka and China while boosting inbound and outbound tourism opportunities.
