15-year-old pilot Bayron Waller, on a mission to become the youngest supported pilot to fly around the world, left Ratmalana Airport this morning (19) to begin the third leg of his ambitious journey, flying from Sri Lanka to Ahmedabad, India.
Bayron, who lives with Crohn’s disease, aims to inspire the world by showing that chronic illnesses do not define one’s destiny. Having been bedridden for three weeks after birth until the age of 13, he has overcome immense challenges to pursue his dream.
He recently completed the first leg from Christmas Island, Australia, to Seletar Airport, Singapore, and then the second leg to Ratmalana. In total, Bayron plans to cover approximately 50,000 kilometers across 22 countries, aiming to complete his journey by his 16th birthday.
