The Ministry of Ports and Aviation says that 19 local and foreign investors have expressed their agreement to invest in the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport.
Deputy Minister Ruwan Kodithuwakku mentioned that the deadline for submitting proposals ended yesterday.
Consequently, he said that these investors are expected to commence development projects at the Mattala airport in the near future. (News1st)
