The United Federation of Travel Agents Associations (UFTAA) has declared 2026 its Diamond Jubilee Year, marking 60 years of global industry leadership. At its Annual General Assembly on 27 March 2025, a new board representing 11 countries was elected to lead UFTAA’s vision for 2025–2026.
Sunil Kumar R, President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), has been re-elected as UFTAA’s Global President.
Dr. Duminda Kuruwitaarchchi from Sri Lanka has also been re-elected as a Director, reinforcing Sri Lanka’s presence in the global travel and tourism sector.
