Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, has secured daily slots at London Heathrow Airport for its inaugural flight scheduled in October 2025. The airline plans to operate Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners on the Riyadh–Heathrow route, marking its first European destination. This move is a key step in Riyadh Air’s ambition to become a global aviation hub, supported by the Saudi Public Investment Fund as part of the country’s Vision 2030 plan. The airline is finalizing crew training and regulatory approvals ahead of its launch.
