The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has responded to recent media reports alleging the misuse of its aircraft for presidential campaigning.
In a statement published on ‘X’ the SLAF clarified that aircraft are provided to candidates on a payment basis, following standard procedures.
Presidential candidates and their use of aircraft were recently highlighted in the media, with many speculating that state funds and resources have been utilised for campaigning activities. (Newswire)
