Mr. W. W. S. Mangala, the newly appointed Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation, paid his inaugural visit to the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) on 23 October 2025, accompanied by Hon. Deputy Minister Eng. Janitha Ruwan Kodituwakku.
He was received by CAASL Chairman Mr. Sunil Jayarathna and Director General of Civil Aviation & CEO Capt. Daminda Rambukwella. During the visit, Mr. Mangala met with the Authority’s senior management and discussed key priorities for strengthening Sri Lanka’s civil aviation sector.
CAASL expressed its commitment to working closely with the new Secretary to further advance the nation’s aviation industry.
