Japan Airlines welcomes its first Airbus A350 -1000

Japan Airlines (JAL) receives its first Airbus A350 – 1000 aircraft on December 14, 2023. This aircraft will be deployed on the Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND) to Newyork’s John F. Kennedy International Airport route commencing on January 24, 2024.

The introduction of A350 was initially scheduled on late November 2023, due to unforeseen supply chain issues it was delayed. This JAL A350- 1000 Aircrafts have the capacity to accommodate 239 passengers across 4 cabin classes. The first class containing six seats, Business class accompanying 54 seats, premium economy class accomodating 24 seats and 155 seats accompanied by the economy class.Moreover, JAL has placed a firm order for a total of 13 A350- 1000s. Furthermore, transition of daily operations were planned before the end of March, 2024 once the arrival of the second A350-1000.
