Highest number of pilot licenses issued in India in 2023

It was recorded that the Indian Aviation regulator issued 1622 pilot licenses last year. This is considered to be the highest ever number of pilot license issued in the history. As Indian Airlines have ordered more than 1500 Aircrafts, it expects thousand pilots to operate these planes. Another positive impact is increasing number of females applying for pilot’s license. Last year, 292 women received their CPLs which is 22% more than the year 2022.
