Dimuthu Tennakoon, Chairman of the Board of Airline Representatives (BAR), celebrated a decade of distinguished service at a special event held at Shangri-La Hambantota. Under his stewardship, BAR successfully navigated critical challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, addressing operational hurdles like foreign exchange shortages and high fuel costs. Tennakoon’s efforts ensured Sri Lanka’s continued appeal as a destination for international airlines, bolstering tourism and significantly contributing to the national economy.
