Delta Air Lines has announced plans to add 30 Boeing 787 Dreamliner widebody aircraft to its fleet, marking the introduction of a new aircraft type for the carrier.
The order complements Delta’s previous commitment for 100 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft, supporting the airline’s long-term fleet modernization strategy.
Delta has selected GE Aerospace GEnx engines to power the 787 fleet and has entered into a long-term agreement with GE Aerospace for engine maintenance and support, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability as the aircraft enter service.
