The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) reported a profit of Rs. 18 billion in the first half of 2025. CPC Managing Director Mayura Netthikumara said the profit is being used to initiate several projects to further develop the petroleum sector. He also outlined plans to construct an aviation fuel pipeline from the Muthurajawela terminal to Katunayake Airport, aimed at improving fuel logistics and supporting aviation operations. (News Wire)
