The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) has officially reopened its office at Colombo International Airport, Ratmalana (CIAR). The office will operate every Tuesday, staffed by inspectors from Airworthiness, Aircraft Operations, or Personnel Licensing based on operational needs.
The reopening ceremony, held on 11th November 2025, was graced by CAASL Chairman Mr. Sunil Jayarathna and Director General of Civil Aviation & CEO Capt. Daminda Rambukwella, along with senior officials and industry stakeholders.
This initiative, driven by stakeholder requests, aims to enhance collaboration, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen engagement between CAASL and the aviation industry.
