On ITA Airways (Italy) flight AZ855 from Dakar to Rome Fiumicino Airport, a seven-month pregnant passenger gave birth approximately one hour after takeoff.
The mother and the baby were assisted by the cabin crew, along with a doctor and a nurse on board. The baby is reported to be in good health, and the event has been recorded as the first birth on an ITA Airways flight.
