The Sri Lanka Air Force has deployed a Y-12 aircraft to disperse blessed Pirith water over parts of the country as part of a symbolic religious ceremony seeking rain and relief from dry conditions.
The initiative carries prayers for communities, wildlife and the environment affected by the prevailing drought.
