The Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026 have revealed the world’s top airlines, with Singapore Airlines securing the No. 1 position, followed by Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific.
ANA All Nippon Airways and Turkish Airlines complete the top five, while Emirates ranks sixth.
Notably, five of the top six airlines operate flights to Sri Lanka, highlighting the country’s connectivity with several of the world’s leading international carriers. Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Turkish Airlines and Emirates all serve the Sri Lankan market, while ANA is the only airline among the top six without a direct scheduled service to Sri Lanka.
