The Expo Leisure Cluster secured six accolades at the 8th Annual SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards (SNIA) 2026, held on 16 June at ITC Ratnadipa, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and digital transformation in Sri Lanka’s travel and tourism sector.
EVS Study Fly emerged as a standout performer, winning the Western Province title for Best Innovative Product in Edu-Tech and Best Innovative Product in E-Commerce. The platform also secured the National Winner award in the Best Innovative Product in Edu-Tech category and was named First Runner-Up in the National Best Innovative Product in E-Commerce category.
In the hospitality sector, Classic Travel’s Competitor IQ was recognized as the National Winner for Best Innovative Product in Hospitality.
Meanwhile, EVS’s EZ Visa App claimed the National Winner title in the E-Commerce category, further strengthening the Expo Leisure Cluster’s position as a leader in technology-driven travel solutions.
The SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards is one of Sri Lanka’s premier innovation and technology awards programmes, recognizing organizations, startups, universities and schools for developing innovative products, solutions, and digital transformations.
Commenting on the achievement, Sabry Bahaudeen, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Expo Leisure, stated that the recognition reflects the group’s continuous focus on innovation, technology-driven solutions, and creating greater value for customers across the travel, tourism, and education sectors. He noted that the awards serve as an encouragement to further enhance digital products and services while driving the next phase of growth and transformation.
