Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has advised passengers to use the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway due to the adverse weather conditions disrupting several access roads.
To help mitigate congestion, passengers have also been requested not to bring visitors to the terminal during this period.
Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Pvt. Ltd. (AASL) issued the directive, thanking passengers for their cooperation.
The measures are intended to ensure the continued, safe operation of the airport amidst the challenging circumstances caused by the floods.
