Switzerland’s Edelweiss Air has officially touched down in Colombo today, marking the commencement of its 2025/26 winter flight operations. The airline resumes direct services between Zurich and Colombo, operating twice-weekly flights every Tuesday and Saturday.
This seasonal service strengthens air connectivity between Sri Lanka and Switzerland, offering travelers a convenient link for leisure and holiday travel during the winter months. Edelweiss’ return also highlights growing demand for Sri Lanka as a preferred long-haul destination among European travelers.
