Kuwait Airways Resumes Colombo Service with Four Weekly Flights

Kuwait Airways has officially resumed commercial flights to Colombo, marking its return to Sri Lanka after a four-year hiatus. The inaugural flight from Kuwait City touched down at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning, where a special welcoming ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion.

The national carrier will now operate four weekly flights between Kuwait City and Colombo, reinstating an important air link between the Middle East and Sri Lanka.

The service, which was last operated in December 2021, underscores Kuwait Airways’ renewed commitment to strengthening regional connectivity. The route is operated by the Airbus A320neo, offering passengers enhanced comfort, efficiency, and reliability on the four-and-a-half-hour journey.
