Uzbekistan Airways has announced its largest-ever aircraft purchase with a deal to acquire up to 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, a move aimed at modernising its widebody fleet and supporting the carrier’s international growth strategy.
The order, unveiled in New York during the United Nations General Assembly, includes 14 firm orders for the 787-9 variant with options for eight additional aircraft.
The deal underscores Uzbekistan Airways’ long-standing partnership with Boeing, which spans nearly three decades. (Aviation Business ME)
