Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of its new Ho Chi Minh City – Colombo service from 16 August 2026, marking another milestone in the airline’s international network expansion.
The new route will operate three weekly flights, providing direct connectivity between Vietnam and Sri Lanka while supporting tourism, business travel and regional connectivity.
The Colombo service forms part of Vietnam Airlines’ wider summer 2026 expansion, which also includes the introduction of two additional Airbus aircraft, the launch of services to Phuket and increased frequencies on selected international routes.
