United Airlines Becomes First Carrier with 1,000 Mainline Aircraft

United Airlines reached a historic milestone in late January, becoming the first airline to operate a fleet of 1,000 mainline aircraft with the delivery of a Boeing 737 MAX 9.

United’s nearest competitors, Delta and American Airlines, operate 985 and 978 mainline aircraft, respectively.
