After a layoff of three months the Sri Lanka tourism arrivals are showing acceleration and at the end of July visitor numbers were 152,177 (July 1 to 25).
Total number of arrivals stood at 1,162,426 with the year expected to pass 2.3 million arrivals and recording the best year for tourism. Tourists were also seen travelling to the south, cultural triangle and Nuwara Eliya.
