In an exclusive interview with a Sunday newspaper, SriLankan Airlines Chairman Ashok Pathirage revealed plans to expand the airline’s current fleet. “Currently, we are operating with a fleet of 16 aircraft. We are looking to add more; it will be 18 by next month,” he stated.
The addition of two aircraft by the end of July will increase the total fleet size to 18, enhancing the airline’s operational capacity.
