SriLankan Airlines has officially reinstated its 8th weekly frequency on the Colombo–Trichy route as of this morning, enhancing connectivity between Sri Lanka and India.
The airline now operates daily flights, with two services on Thursdays, catering to increased passenger demand. This expanded schedule underscores SriLankan Airlines’ commitment to strengthening regional connectivity and supporting tourism and trade between the two nations. A brief ceremony was held in Trichy to mark the occasion, with officials expressing optimism for further service expansions in the near future.
