A SriLankan Airlines Airbus A321neo operating flight UL229 to Kuwait returned safely to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on Thursday (08) after a technical issue was detected shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft, registered 4R-AND, turned back as a precautionary measure. Aviation authorities confirmed that the flight landed safely and standard procedures were followed.
