SriLankan Airlines has cancelled several scheduled flights to and from the Middle East today due to the closure of airspace in parts of the region, following escalating security tensions.
The airline said the cancellations were unavoidable and implemented in the interest of passenger and crew safety. Affected services include flights between Colombo and Riyadh, Kuwait, Dammam, Dubai and Doha, as well as the corresponding return sectors to Colombo.

SriLankan Airlines has apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked passengers for their understanding, noting that the situation is being closely monitored and services will resume once conditions permit safe operations.
