Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena, met senior officials of LOT Polish Airlines and Enter Air in Warsaw to explore enhanced air connectivity between the two countries.
Discussions centered on resuming LOT’s regular flights to Colombo, halted since 2020 and promoting year-round travel links amid rising Polish tourist arrivals. LOT aims to expand its long-haul fleet by 2026, targeting Sri Lanka for route resumption in 2027–28.
Enter Air confirmed direct seasonal flights from Warsaw and Katowice to Colombo from 30 October 2025 to mid-April 2026, further strengthening tourism and economic ties.
