Sri Lanka recorded 36,002 tourist arrivals during the first six days of July 2025, reflecting steady momentum in the island’s tourism sector. India remains the top source market, followed by the United Kingdom, Australia, China, and Germany.
With this boost, the cumulative total of international tourist arrivals for the year has reached 1,204,046, underscoring Sri Lanka’s growing appeal as a preferred travel destination in the region.
