SkyUp Airlines has successfully completed its winter charter flight program to Sri Lanka after operating a series of direct flights between Moldova and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport.
The final flight of the season departed from Mattala yesterday (11), carrying 187 tourists back to Moldova.
The winter charter program began on 27 December 2025, during which a total of eight direct flights were operated from Moldova to Mattala. Through these flights, 1,296 tourists visited Sri Lanka, contributing to the country’s tourism arrivals during the winter travel season.
