Qantas’ Project Sunrise A350-1000ULR Lands in Australia After 19-Hour Test Flight

Qantas’ first Project Sunrise Airbus A350-1000ULR has successfully arrived in Melbourne after a nonstop flight of more than 19 hours from Toulouse, France. The specially modified aircraft is equipped with an additional 20,000-litre fuel tank, extending its range to over 18,000 km.
The ultra-long-range aircraft is designed to operate the world’s longest commercial flights, including nonstop services between Sydney and London and Sydney and New York, with flight times of up to 22 hours. Project Sunrise is expected to redefine long-haul travel by connecting Australia directly with major global cities.
