At least six people were injured after a Myanmar military plane skidded off the runway before it reached the terminal at the Lengpui Airport in Mizoram on Tuesday.
The incident happened at nearly 10.19 am, when a total of 14 people were onboard the plane.
According to sources, the plane was supposed to pick up Myanmar soldiers who fled the Lawngtlai district due to clashes between the Myanmar army and the civilian army.
After landing at Lengpui Airport, Mizoram, the plane skidded off the runway.
A video of the incident showed rescue operators at the site of the accident.
