Malaysia Airlines has revealed a striking new Manchester United-themed livery on its Airbus A330neo, celebrating its partnership with the iconic football club. The design blends the red hues of the Malaysian flag with Manchester United’s signature red, symbolizing unity between aviation and sports. This announcement was made at the MATTA Fair 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, with former Manchester United players Dimitar Berbatov, Nemanja Vidić, and Luís Nani in attendance.
In addition to the livery, Malaysia Airlines introduced new lie-flat Business Class seats for its upcoming Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, set to enter service in 2026. The airline also announced the resumption of direct flights to Brisbane starting November 29, 2025, and increased frequencies to destinations including Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Surabaya, Phuket and Trivandrum.
