Alliance Air has reached a significant milestone by completing its 500th flight to Jaffna International Airport (JIA), Sri Lanka. The airline, which resumed its Chennai-Jaffna route in December 2022 after a pandemic hiatus, initially operated four weekly flights.
Due to high demand, daily services were introduced in July 2023, enhancing connectivity between India and Sri Lanka. This achievement marks a key moment in fostering closer ties between the two regions.
