On 10 January 2026, a Cessna Grand Caravan operated by IndiaOne Air made a crash landing in the Indian state of Odisha, injuring six people, all of whom are reported to be in stable condition.
The aircraft, operating Flight IOA102 from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela, declared a MAYDAY shortly before landing and was forced down in an open area near Kansor, around 15-20 kilometres short of Rourkela Airport.
According to authorities, the nine-seat Cessna 208B Grand Caravan was carrying four passengers and two crew members at the time of the incident. Rescue teams reached the site quickly, and all occupants were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has been tasked with investigating the occurrence.
