Icelandair, the national carrier of Iceland, made a remarkable stop at Sri Lanka’s Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) as part of its ongoing world tour.
The aircraft received a traditional water cannon salute upon arrival, marking the occasion with ceremonial flair. Passengers were treated to a warm Sri Lankan welcome, complete with a vibrant Kandyan dance performance that showcased the island’s rich cultural heritage.
