The Hayleys Group has been appointed as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for flydubai in Sri Lanka, effective 1st August 2024. Safraz Abdeen will take on the role of Head of Sales for flydubai’s operations in Sri Lanka. Abdeen brings with him an impressive 25 years of experience in the airline and tourism industries, having held key positions in Australia, Singapore, and the Maldives.
Throughout his extensive career, Abdeen has made significant contributions in various commercial roles at prominent airlines, including FitsAir, Singapore Airlines, and Etihad Airways. He has also managed airport services at SriLankan Airlines and held pivotal commercial positions with Cathay Pacific and Oman Air in the Maldives.
Abdeen’s comprehensive industry experience equips him with the expertise needed to drive flydubai’s growth and success in the Sri Lankan market. His appointment is expected to bolster the airline’s operations and enhance its market presence, leveraging his deep knowledge and strategic vision.
