Gulf Air Restores 75% of Global Flight Network, Recently Resumed Sri Lanka Flights

Gulf Air has announced the restoration of 75% of its global flight network as the Bahraini national carrier continues its phased return to full operations across key international destinations.

As part of the expansion, Gulf Air resumed and enhanced its Colombo operations from 2 May 2026, offering passengers in Sri Lanka seamless daily connections to 41 destinations across its global network via Bahrain.

The airline stated that flights are currently operating to 40 destinations in 24 countries, with additional services and frequencies expected to be gradually introduced in the coming weeks. Full network restoration is targeted by 1 June 2026.

To support passengers, the airline is also offering one complimentary date change for customers holding confirmed bookings until 30 June 2026, with rebooking available until 31 March 2027.
