Business aviation operator Global Jet has appointed Sofia Pinhao as its new Safety & Cabin Training Manager, further strengthening its focus on cabin safety, regulatory compliance and crew development.
In the new role, Sofia Pinhao will oversee the company’s cabin safety and training strategy, with responsibility for developing and implementing training programmes, ensuring compliance with international aviation regulations, and supporting the continuous professional development of Global Jet cabin crew.
The appointment reflects Global Jet continued investment in operational excellence as the company expands its capabilities and reinforces its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service across its worldwide operations.
Prior to joining Global Jet, Sofia Pinhao built a career in aviation with extensive experience in cabin operations, safety management, and crew training. Throughout that career, she has contributed to the development of safety initiatives, training standards, and operational best practices, working within highly regulated environments and supporting a strong culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
As Safety & Cabin Training Manager, Sofia Pinhao will work closely with flight operations, compliance and cabin services teams to ensure training programmes remain aligned with evolving industry regulations and best practices, while supporting the company’s long-term operational objectives.
