Edelweiss Air Boosts Swiss Arrivals as Sri Lanka Records Highest-Ever Tourist Numbers from Switzerland in 2025

Sri Lanka welcomed a record 33,624 tourists from Switzerland in 2025, marking a notable increase compared to 29,829 arrivals in 2024. The growth has been supported by Edelweiss Air, which currently operates two weekly flights between Switzerland and Sri Lanka, strengthening connectivity and boosting inbound tourism from the European market.
