Dubai’s Al Maktoum Airport Project to Recruit 2,000 Sri Lankan Workers?

China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) plans to recruit around 2,000 Sri Lankan skilled and semi-skilled workers for the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport following discussions with officials from the Sri Lankan Consulate in Dubai.

CHEC’s HR Manager met with Consul General Alexi Gunasekera, Head of Chancery Subhashini Silva, and Counsellor (Employment & Welfare) Manorie Vithanapathirana to discuss employment opportunities linked to the airport’s major expansion project.

The Al Maktoum International Airport development is expected to transform the facility into one of the world’s largest aviation hubs while creating significant overseas job opportunities for Sri Lankan workers.
