Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Janith Ruwan Kodithuwakku recently held a discussion with representatives of all trade unions at SriLankan Airlines.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister said trade union representatives would have the opportunity to engage in discussions with him at any time.
He further stressed the importance of resolving trade union-related issues without causing any disruption to the airline’s business operations. He emphasized that all parties should work towards addressing such matters while safeguarding the continuity and interests of SriLankan Airlines.
Representatives of the trade unions who attended the meeting welcomed the Deputy Minister’s decision to convene the discussion.
They further expressed their continued commitment to supporting the airline and contributing towards the uninterrupted conduct of its business activities.
