Sri Lanka’s aviation community is set to celebrate a major milestone with the launch of From Nose to Tale, a new book by industry veteran Gihan A. Fernando, capturing his five-decade journey across the nation’s aviation landscape.
Covering experiences from the Sri Lanka Air Force to Air Ceylon, Air Lanka, Singapore Airlines and SriLankan Airlines, the memoir offers rare insights, personal stories and historical reflections from one of the country’s most respected aviation figures.
The official launch will take place on 29 November 2025 at 6.00 pm at the OPASL Auditorium, Colombo 7.
