A De Havilland Twin Otter 300, en route from Kuala Lumpur to the United States on a long-range ferry flight, made a scheduled technical stop at Koggala Airport, Sri Lanka, to resolve a system issue. The repairs were successfully carried out by Ceylon Aeronautical Services (CAS), the country’s leading MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) provider based in Koggala.
Following the maintenance, the aircraft continued its journey, departing Sri Lanka via Ratmalana Airport.
