Canada has expressed its readiness to support the further development of Sri Lanka’s civil aviation sector through technical expertise, training and modern equipment.
Canadian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Isabella Martin and Political and Trade Advisor Gwen Temmel held discussions with Ports, Civil Aviation and Energy Minister Anura Karunathilaka, focusing on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions highlighted opportunities for Canadian investment, technology transfer and capacity building in Sri Lanka’s aviation sector, with Canada also expressing its willingness to further expand trade and investment ties with Sri Lanka.
