Belarus and Sri Lanka Discuss Visa-Free Travel and Direct Air Links

Belarus and Sri Lanka have discussed the possibility of launching direct flights between the two countries, following meetings led by Belarus’s Ambassador Mikhail Kasko with Sri Lankan officials.

The issue was raised during talks with Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath and Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku.

Both sides highlighted the importance of signing an Air Services Agreement, which would pave the way for regular direct air links between Belarus and Sri Lanka, boosting tourism and bilateral cooperation.
